The number of people caught drunk driving has fallen by 28 percent since the implementation of tougher punishments last December.<br />And according to the Korean National Police Agency on Tuesday, there were 3-thousand-2-hundred-12 traffic accidents caused by drunk driving from January to March this year --- a 35 percent decrease from the same period last year.<br />This follows the implementation of the Yoon Chang-ho Act last December, giving longer prison terms to those who cause death while driving under the influence.<br />The police are planning more publicity activities to let people know about the dangers of drunk driving. <br />
